Keep an eye on GPS chip maker SiRF Technology (SIRF)
SiRF Technology (Nasdaq: SIRF) got clobbered today after reporting second quarter earnings that were hurt by stock options related costs. The stock was down about 20% during after-hours trading. I personally love the GPS sector and will keep an eye on SiRF. Garmin and Pioneer are among SiRF’s customers. Garmin (Nasdaq: GRMN) was also down 3% in after-hours trading.
